Research tells us that the probability of change success in whatever project or initiative (business or personal) you undertake is as low as 30%. This means that to be successful most people need to try to achieve their designated goal several times before being successful.
This trial and error approach is very costly in both financial and human terms. The impact on our self-confidence and willingness to attempt change initiatives is significant. If we could be certain that our probability of success of any change initiative was at least 80% then we would attempt more and succeed more.
