Graduates joining our ATT training programme will work with a variety of clients and gain exposure to senior financial professionals and business leaders. We are now accepting applications for our 2026 ATT training programme based in our Dundee and Edinburgh offices. The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term training contract with the possibility to also move on to the CTA (Chartered Tax Advisor) exams once the ATT qualification has been obtained. With continued support and mentoring, helping you smoothly transition from university to your professional career. During your training contract you will be:
- Given the opportunity early on to work on a variety of clients, ranging from owner managed businesses to large international groups and not for profit organisations.
- Developing your business advisory skills through our HL Training Academy
- Covering a variety of tasks, enabling you to grow personally as well as professionally
- Working in a busy, high performing team, constantly learning from those around you as part of your on-the-job training
- Given study and exam leave to ensure you pass your exams
- Supported throughout your training contract, both financially and by people who have successfully completed the ATT and CTA qualifications
What we are looking for:
- A good level of education and academic ability (Minimum 2:1, any subject)
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
- A demonstrable interest in business and financial issues
- A well-developed sense of client service
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and analytical approach to problem solving
- Works well under pressure and rises to a challenge
