We are now accepting applications for our 2026 Chartered Accountant Training Programme in our Dundee and Edinburgh offices. This three-year fixed-term contract offers extensive support and mentoring to help you transition smoothly from university to a successful professional career.

During your training contract you will:

  • Work with a variety of clients—from owner-managed businesses to major family-owned companies, multinationals, and not-for-profit organisations
  • Develop your advisory skills through our HL Training Academy
  • Gain experience across a range of tasks to support both personal and professional growth
  • Learn on the job as part of a high-performing team
  • Receive study and exam leave to help you succeed
  • Be supported financially and personally by colleagues who have completed the ICAS qualification

What we are looking for:

  • A strong academic background (minimum 2:1 degree in any subject)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in business and financial issues
  • Strong attention to detail and client service mindset
  • A proactive, analytical approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work well under pressure and embrace challenges
  • Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as Henderson Loggie is unable to provide visa sponsorship
