We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Technical Administrator to join our financial planning team. In this role, you’ll support advisers by preparing accurate client reviews, managing transactions, and maintaining high-quality documentation – all to ensure a seamless client experience.

This position will be based in our Edinburgh office.
What the role will involve:
- Deliver accurate, comprehensive annual reviews within agreed timelines.
- Prepare and issue annual financial reviews using tools such as FE Analytics.
- Complete drawdown reviews and provide technical input on tax and pension matters.
- Accurately process client transactions (e.g., fund switches, withdrawals, contributions).
- Maintain client records and data across platforms including HLFP and MoneyInfo.
- Raise annual and quarterly fees and manage documentation for adviser submissions.
- Submission of new business and inputting of data in back-office system (Intelliflo)
- Troubleshoot system issues and support ongoing service case management.
- Assist with financial plan preparation and contribute to process improvements.
- Provide technical and administrative support to advisers and colleagues.
- Prepare and issue compliant documentation such as recommendation reports and deeds of assignment.
What we are looking for:
The successful candidate will:
- Experience working in a technical or administrative financial services role, ideally within financial planning or investment.
- Hands-on experience in client account management and financial transactions.
- Familiarity with platforms such as FE Analytics, Voyant, and MoneyInfo.
- Strong knowledge of financial planning, pensions, investments, and related products.
- Solid understanding of regulatory standards and compliance in documentation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High attention to detail with strong analytical and numerical abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and financial software tools.
- Effective multitasker with good organisational and time-management skills.
- Collaborative team player who is adaptable and solution-oriented.
