As a trainee, you will benefit from our strong market presence and diverse client base, gaining hands-on experience with a wide range of businesses while working closely with senior finance professionals and business leaders.
We are now recruiting for our 2026 CA Training Programme in our Dundee & Edinburgh offices. This five-year fixed-term contract provides structured training, mentoring, and guidance, helping you transition smoothly from education into a successful professional career.
During your training contract, you will:
- Work with a variety of clients, ranging from owner-managed businesses to major family-owned companies, multinationals and not-for-profit organisations
- Develop your business advisory skills through our HL Training Academy
- Gain experience across a range of tasks to support both personal and professional growth
- Learn on the job as part of a high-performing team
- Receive study and exam leave to help you succeed
- Be supported financially and personally by colleagues who have completed the ICAS qualification
What we are looking for:
- Four B passes at Higher level (or equivalent), including English, Maths, Science, Accounting, or Business Studies (preferably within the same academic year) or HNC/D or equivalent.
- Excellent communication skills – both written and oral
- A demonstrable interest in business and financial issues
- A well-developed sense of client service
- Excellent attention to detail
- A proactive and analytical approach to problem-solving
- Applicants must have the right to work in the UK, as Henderson Loggie is unable to provide visa sponsorship
