David Smith

I am the Managing Partner of Henderson Loggie. As the firm’s business leader, I work closely with my fellow Partners and staff, coaching and supporting their delivery of services to meet clients’ needs across a range of sectors.

Driving growth and facilitating the implementation of the firm’s strategy is a key role as Managing Partner, but I also have an established reputation as a strategic advisor and coach.

I lead the firm’s Consulting team, advising clients on growth and profit improvement, strategic planning, leadership development, personal development, lean management, implementing change and blended learning to coach and support our clients to achieve their goals.

As an accredited business facilitator and coach, I have been supporting, coaching and training businesses and business leaders for over 20 years. This includes our Business Leader Groups, providing leaders and owners with the opportunity to free themselves from the day to day, to focus and prioritise, build their skills and capabilities, while holding them accountable. I offer guidance and support as a coach and further support is available through the Business Leader Group peer network.

Outwith work, for the benefit of Cancer Research UK, I am a board member of Business Beats Cancer Dundee and for many years have been an energetic supporter and honorary treasurer of the local Dundee fundraising group.  I am also a proud Burgess of the City of Dundee, celebrating the past, present and future of the city.
