Environmental Responsibility
In partnership with Boxfish consultants, we measured our carbon footprint and set clear sustainability goals. Our carbon baseline report showed that 107.67 tonnes of CO2e were generated in 2022/23, with a carbon intensity of 9.49 tCO2e per £1M revenue. Our goal is to achieve net-zero by 2040, which is five years ahead of Scotland’s target.
Social Responsibility
We believe in creating a positive impact both inside and outside our business. Our wellbeing and inclusion initiatives include a dedicated Wellbeing Programme that covers mental, financial, and physical health, as well as access to Perkbox benefits, supporting employee wellbeing and engagement.
We are also committed to equal opportunities, with 55% female workforce representation.
Governance & Ethical Business Practices
Our governance framework ensures we operate responsibly and ethically. We have 40% female board representation, promoting diverse leadership, and provided 5,237 training hours in 2023/24 to ensure continued professional development.
We also achieve gender pay parity, with women earning £1.06 for every £1 earned by men, exceeding UK averages. We are dedicated to accountability, transparency, and ethical business practices in everything we do.
Making a Difference
Volunteering is vital to our purpose of leaving a lasting legacy in the communities where we are located. In 2023, we created a volunteering policy, which gave all our colleagues one day of volunteering leave per year. Since then, 402 hours have been donated to charities and organisations.
