I am a Director in the Business Recovery and Insolvency Team at Henderson Loggie. I am a Chartered Accountant (ICAS 1996) and JIEB qualified (2002). I began my insolvency career over 25 years ago and have worked for two of the Big-4 and latterly a smaller Private Equity owned firm. During that time, I have worked with a wide range of businesses of various sizes across a variety of different sectors providing both formal insolvency and advisory advice.
Most of the businesses I deal with are experiencing some form of financial stress or distress. I know that it can be a stressful time for anyone experiencing financial difficulties and I enjoy helping stakeholders deal with financial problems. I can provide pragmatic and commercial advice in a friendly and professional manner. The sooner you speak to us the more options you have.
I also enjoy coaching and mentoring more junior members of our team to help them develop their own careers through sharing my knowledge and experience with them.
Outside of work I mainly provide a private taxi service for my two young daughters taking them to their extra-curricular activities. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, listening to music and attending concerts, although some might say I have questionable musical tastes.
