I joined Henderson Loggie in early 2016 on a training contract and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in late 2017. After completing my training in the audit department, I moved into the Accounting and Business Solutions (ABS) team to broaden my experience and technical skills. I now assist in running the ABS department to provide accounting and independent examination services to small and medium-sized clients. I provide advice and support to various client types including sole traders, partnerships, limited companies, and charities across various sectors.
Within my role, I coordinate the provision of various accounting services to our clients including the preparation and submission of statutory accounts, and the completion of independent examinations for charity clients. I also work closely with the rest of the ABS team to coordinate the provision of other accounting services such as the preparation of management accounts, the preparation and submission of VAT returns, and the completion of routine bookkeeping. I am also responsible for various company and charity secretarial duties.
I am a certified Xero user and have experience using other accounting packages including Sage, FreeAgent and Quickbooks. I am a member of the firm’s Digital Solutions Team and have an interest in developing the use of cloud accounting technology for our clients.
In my spare time, I like to be outdoors, and I enjoy travelling to see new places. Outside of work I also enjoy socialising with friends and family.
