I was previously head of tax in EY’s Inverness office where I worked with owner-managed businesses and landed estates throughout the UK. I qualified as a Chartered Accountant in EY’s Edinburgh office and before re-joining EY in Inverness she worked with Martin Currie, Scottish Water and Johnston Carmichael in a variety of financial accounting and tax roles.
I have over thirty years of experience in working in both accounting and tax over a wide variety of sectors. I specialise in providing complex tax advice for owner-managed businesses at all stages of the business lifecycle from start-up, to exit and frequently help my clients with all aspects of succession and Inheritance tax planning.
I am a member of the firm’s Agriculture and Rural team and have extensive experience in advising landowners on all aspects of tax structuring across multiple legal structures.
