I am an ACCA qualified Assistant Manager within our Business Recovery & Insolvency team and have been working in the Insolvency profession for over 20 years, after graduating from University. I was initially involved in assisting with the Agency work carried out on behalf of the Accountant in Bankruptcy and dealing with some Members’ Voluntary Liquidations.

I joined Henderson Loggie in August 2007 and my Insolvency experience soon widened to include Court Liquidations, Creditors’ Voluntary Liquidations, and Trust Deeds. I also became involved in dealing with Sequestrations where the Accountant in Bankruptcy was not the Trustee and also administered a Creditors’ Voluntary Arrangement.

I have encountered all sorts of cases, including a swimming pool company, a kitchen manufacturer, a call centre and a city farm. No two cases are ever the same and I have experience of dealing with employee redundancies and assisting with the associated claims to be submitted to the Redundancy Payments Service.

Outside of work, I have a seven-year-old son who keeps me very busy and entertained. I love a caravan holiday and have visited some lovely areas of the UK with my family.
