The Corporate Finance team at Henderson Loggie has advised on the sale of Aberdeen-based Bruhan, a leading provider of full suite IT Managed Services and Project Management, to Arrow Business Communications Ltd, one of the UK’s leading independent providers of Cloud, IT and Energy solutions for businesses.
Bruhan was established by Bruce and Hanna Buchan in 2017 in Aberdeen. The deal further enhances Arrow’s presence and offering in the North-East of Scotland but also in the Oil and Gas sector.
The global managed services market was valued at $152bn in 2020, and is estimated to reach around $274bn by 2026, an increase of just over 80% over the next few years with the UK taking up over 30% of the global market share based on revenues in 2020. Over the past few years, there has been an increase in the adoption of cloud platforms and remote collaboration largely stimulated by the coronavirus pandemic, expanding the increased complexity of daily IT operations and increasing the need for managed services providers.
Bruce Buchan said “Having never done this before we sought recommendations and Henderson Loggie came highly recommended due to their experience of supporting clients through the sale process, their market reach, and their can-do approach. We were delighted with the support we received from the corporate finance team, their willingness to jump on a call and answer any questions was much appreciated. We were very pleased with the outcome and very much look forward to working with the team at Arrow to take the business to the next level”.
Rod Mathers, Corporate Finance Partner at Henderson Loggie said “We wish Bruce and Hanna the very best with the next stage in their journey. Arrow was identified as an ideal partner for them given their existing services, which Bruhan will enhance through their excellent service offering”.
