Henderson Loggie supports Scottish Enterprise and PXN on their £7m Orbital Marine Power investment

Henderson Loggie Corporate Finance are thrilled to provide FDD and Modelling support to Scottish Enterprise and PXN Group for their £7m investment into tidal energy leader Orbital Marine Power.

Orbital is an Orkney-based renewable energy company that designs, builds and operates floating tidal stream turbines to generate clean, predictable electricity from ocean currents. Orbital’s flagship O2 turbine, the world’s most powerful tidal turbine, is a floating, twin rotor system that is towed into place and is easily maintained, while harnessing energy 24/7. The investment will aid Orbital in building its fleet of turbines, with power contracts already secured with the UK Government for an additional 6 turbines.

Henderson Loggie provided financial due diligence and modelling support to Scottish Enterprise and PXN Group for this investment. The engagement team was Rod Mathers, David Cayzer and Gregor Miller.
